After the user submits the thank you message is on a new page???

Asked by Nedbinder on July 28, 2012 at 10:44 PM

When creating the form  I selected "After form submission, show a message."

But when you select the submit button the thank you message loads a new page???

I've used your product before and it has worked flawlessly, why is this happening now???

    Thanks Liyam

That anwsers my question, the program I was using was having trouble with the javascipt embedding code so I used the html source code.

If I created a custom url thank you landing page will that link work even if I'm "still" using the html source code???

    Hello Nedbinder,

As of checking your page, I noticed that you have placed the HTML source code of the form into your page.  This is why the form submits to a different web page (where the thank you message is hosted).  If you wish for the thank you message to appear on your web page, please use the javascript based embedding code:

    Thanks.

Yes, it should work.  After JotForm receives the submitted data, it then process the thank you options of your form.  Creating a Thank You page and selecting that option with the proper URL on your form builder will point to that Thank you URL after submission.

Please let us know if you need further clarification on this.

    Thanks
