My order form is intergated with google spreadsheet. I like this solution so much that I added coloumns to track the status of every incoming order. Everything works fine.
So, I embeded formula and drop down list to the status columns to make it perfect. However, new record will not be insert into these rows with embedded formula. It will skipped them and insert the new record into a 'clean row'.
Is there anyway to get around with this ?

I had observed this also on the form integration to google spreadsheet. For now, this is how the integration behaves. It seems you can only do your formulation and calculations at the 'end'.
Meaning, you can modify the sheets for computation purposes only after it is decided that the submission report data is final or completed.
However, I also discovered that you can do a 'real-time' up-to-date computation and formulation without affecting the submission sheet.
This is by doing all the computation/formulation on another sheet on the spreadsheet.
Please check this form spreadsheet. There is another Sheet2(at bottom) where I created formula/computation to compute some data from the original submissions sheet.
This the the form I used. You can test it and checked again the spreadsheet. See if the formula on Sheet 2 is updating.
