How to switch notification to Text format?

    I am trying to send a notification email to my listserv server to add subscribers.  The info sent has to be straight text with no extraneous characters.  I have looked at the source code for the email and removed everything except my text, e.g.

    ADD ADEACCITOOLUPDATES carolynvincent25@yahoo.com Carolyn Vincen.

     

    The problem is once I save it all of the extraneous characters return.  How can I keep this from happening.

    Thanks for letting us know. I was able to reproduce it here. Even writing on the source code window, the paragraph tags are automatically added when you save the changes.

    I have now escalated this as a feature request. Once this is implemented, we'll let you know here.
