this is what comes up everytime the forms auto saves itself:
There was an error on the page. Try reloading the page.Request denied by WatchGuard Firewall
Reason: IPS detected for "EXPLOIT Cross-site Scripting -1/Access Control".
Also, when I copy the WordPress link and try to paste it into my site, I get following error from our Firewall:
Request denied by WatchGuard FirewallReason: IPS detected for "EXPLOIT Cross-site Scripting -1/Access Control".
again, I know this it's our Firewall router giving this message, but this should not be displayed at all. there has to be something wrong with the command jotform is trying to execute for the firewall to block it. please look into it. there is no way for us to use jotform or even when we paste the code into wordpress and update the page, we get that error.

Perhaps, as you have mentioned already, the adjustment should be done at the end of the firewall router instead. Firewall on router generally behave on this manner as the main purpose of it is as an protection appliance.
The router needs to be configured to allow the jotform application to pass-thru its firewall. Can you do this on your router?
I did a bit of reading about your firewall router since I have no idea bout it (I don't have one either), and I found this about this xtm-application web control 2.0. I maybe wrong about the router, by I am sure that almost all firewall routers compose of mechanism/application in moderating any application within its route.
As for the wordpress, you can use this guide Adding-Forms-to-Wordpress.
Hope this help. Please update us if issues persist after doing some check on the router.

I will have the I.T. department look into it on monday. the problem is my computer is set to bypass the firewall. there is no restrictions on the access level to any website or any ports. the error is being displayed even when I post the WP code into WP and click on publish as if there is some sort of a script issue with the code that the firewall is blocking even though it has nothing to do with actually accessing the network. again, not sure what it is. I will have them look into it.

Thank you for the immediate update.
I think that aside from your computer being set to bypass the firewall, but if you are still using the network which have to pass-thru that router firewall, the moderation or administration will still be handled by the router firewall.
I have a similar scenario... I have a company network,-- everytime I used that network, everything will have to pass-thru on the company router first, and its firewall will always be the first to monitor what passes thru the network due to its policy. Even if my computer/IP is setup to bypass the router firewall, the control to "bypass" is still controlled by that router firewall.
But if I use my own network, I can totally ignore the company network and its firewall policy.
Will await your updates on this. We will be glad to extend assistance up to your I.T. department if they need one, as we want everything sorted out for our customer.
