Square Integration: Square Transaction Id for Integration to Salesforce

    Hi,

I'm loving Jotform and the Salesforce Integration. I even went so far as to post a glowing review on the Salesforce App Exchange. I'm a SF Admin with 10 years experience. I work on Salesforce professionally and beyond that I volunteer and manage several NPO instances of Salesforce for non-profits.

I need to relay though that it's really a huge pain point not to be able to push the Square Transaction Id in integrations. I'm integrating Jotform with Square, Quickbooks and Salesforce. Absent any way to push transaction ids across platforms it's a lot of manual matching, which is the path to ruin especially for a small non-profit.
I understand the Square ID is generated not in JF, but in the Square platform. In order to make that available, you'd have to slow down the integration that pushes to Salesforce while wating for the Square Tranasction ID. That would be completely fine. JF includes the Square Transaction id in the email autoresponder, so I know it's writing back to Jotform.

Please, Please Please add this enhancement to your earliest roadmap. I have no doubt that it's a huge pain point for many users of Jotform as more sophisticated integrations to the platform are being built.

    Thank you!

    Arnold Brown

please stress with them that I understand it would need to be an
asynchronous transaction. I'm happy to wait five minutes for the data to
push to Salesforce and exchange for getting that all important transaction
ID to tie out all my integrations
Please please forward that language to them, a data architect will
    understand this

    Hi Arnold:

Complete agree that this would be super helpful for small non-profits!

In fact, even without the integration with Salesforce, I can't seem to easily match my Jotform submissions and the Square transactions - Jotform submission export csv has a Transaction ID that doesn't match the Transaction ID nor Payment ID on the Square transactions export csv!

Would you have any ideas/pointers on how to match/reconcile the two?

    Tim
