My account was suspended

    I was trying to make a form on jotform for an email service that I will be providing to the users who register with my company and jotform detected phishing and suspended my account. Please reactivate my account so that I can continue building my form. The form has no relations with phishing and I will be hosting the form and services on my own domain.

    Hi,

    Upon checking your account, I see that one of your form is asking for a type of password as an input.

    Please note that we do NOT allow users creating forms that ask for sensitive information like login credentials, passwords, credit card information and the likes. This is against our Terms of Use. Please review our terms page here: http://www.jotform.com/terms/. 

    I have also quoted the section of it here:

    Phishing. You agree that Company may terminate your JotForm Service immediately if a form's purpose is found to be deceptively obtaining: sensitive credit card information, social security numbers, user login credentials, or other sensitive personal information. All these activities are considered as Phishing and any account along with the violating forms will be suspended immediately.

    Collecting Sensitive Information. You may not use the JotForm to collect certain types of sensitive information, including but not limited to credit card information and any type of login credentials. You may collect some sensitive information such as social security numbers or driver’s license numbers, but you are required to use best security practices of JotForm including SSL and Encrypted Forms features. You are solely responsible for compliance with any data protection and privacy laws and rules applicable to the sensitive information.

     

    The form is hosted in our servers and will be identified as a phishing. If you require this kind of information, then you will need to create a separate web page outside of JotForm service for this part. 

    If you wish to continue using our form builder and for us to re-activate your account, you will need to agree to our terms and avoid creating similar fields or forms. Violation of our terms will only lead to your account being suspended and possible for permanent ban.
