How to download various file types submitted?

Asked by gaittec on January 18, 2011 at 06:55 PM

I am testing my forms and I can get to the link for the files submitted.  But, All I can do is bring them up on screen in a text format.  I need to download the actual files so I can use my CAD software to open them.  I tried right clicking on the link, which just gives me link options.

Is this possible?  Please advise since I was going to set this up in a client's office tomorrow and sign up as a registered user.

    Thanks,

    Mike

After opening them on your browser, select "File" from the browser menu and then select "Save." option.

I think you are using Safari browser. On Safari when you right click on a link it gives as "Download File" option.

Thank you. This was caused by my own illiteracy. When I right clicked, there was no option that just said "save".   But, there is an option that says "Save Link to".  Had I tried that option, it would have worked just fine.

    Thanks
