    one more question on formatting.  Is there a way to enforce the alignment .e.g.

    $   100.00

    $       5.55

    $ 2111.00

    i.e.

    1) always a space after $

    2) always ####.##

    I tried to play with the pre-formated fill, but never get it look just right, or missing numbers, etc.  Please advise.

    You can do that by following:

    1) To ensure the space, simply add the space after the dollar sign in calculations:

    Add the space by using the space button on your keyboard.

    2) And to ensure the format, click the three dots option:

    And check this:

    By injecting artificial spaces will not help.

    The number will come out to be different, since it is calculated. It has to be self-adjusted.
