Is there a possible way to capture credit card details (without charging) so that I can apply payment where needed.

I am a travel agent and I sometimes need to apply payment with multiple suppliers for a booking and just need the ability to do that. I am currently using the Square authorize only function but I am not sure it will work because I am still testing it out. 

You can enable Authorization only payment using Paypal, Stripe, and Authorize.net.
