    Uploads not being consistantly delivered to Dropbox

    My forms are working sporadically with Drop Box.  I am not getting all of the documents that are being uploaded.  I am able to get them from your website but not in Drop Box.  Need help.

    We are very sorry for the inconveniences caused.

    I have checked Dropbox integration once again, but I was not able to replicate the problem.

    Are you getting missing uploads on Dropbox or submissions are just not recorded on your Dropbox account. Is that happening to all of the forms or some specific one?

    Any additional information would be appreciated. For example, if the problem is related to some specific browser or file type.

    Another thing that you may try is to use default Submission ID Folder Name for Dropbox integration.

    Also you may use a direct form URL (not embed to some page form) for testing purpose.

    The issue has happened to a few people uploading but it doesn't happen to
    them all the time. All files were pdf's. On the last one that happened,
    the person uploaded 2 files for the same submission and only one file
    uploaded. The files are making it to your servers fine and the
    notification pdf is placed in the drop box folder without issue. It may
    have to do with the file name. For instance, someone had sent pdf's named
    003-01 and 003-2. I only got 003-1.

    I have made some more tests, but it is still working like a charm from my side.

    When the file names are different it should not be a problem. Once you reproduce the problem again, please let us know about affected submission (you may flag it on Submissions page).

    Then, we will forward the problem to our Development Team to see if they can find anything.

    Mike,
    If you take a look at my submissions from the VOA Submittals form, one
    client uploaded submittal #'s 50-57. Of those 50,51,55,56,57 didn't make
    it to dropbox. The rest did. All were uploaded consecutively. I can see
    and access the data from your website but it didn't make it to dropbox. I
    have embedded your form into a google sites page.

    The ones that did not go through were over 5MBs. The ones that were transferred were less than 5MBs. So, it must have something to do with large files. 

    The API limit is supposed to be 150MB, but they might have put a temporarily limit on it. I just uploaded one the files that did not go though, can you check and see if it were transferred this time?

    We are experiencing the very same thing.  We have seen no pattern on what gets uploaded, and what does not.  For this form to be usefull for us it is essential that can download all the files at once, not by selecting each file individually.  That's why the dropbox option was useful.  We hope to have a fix soon or else we need to find another solution.

    We are currently working on this problem. We will send the dropbox files asynchronously on the background and we will switch to the new version of the dropbox API. That should resolve this problem permanently.

    Just checking on the ETA for this. We still have issues with some files missing in Dropbox so we've enabled google drive as a backup solution. But now we have to dig in two places to find files.

    To be honest, we can't really promise an ETA, especially now that our developers are occupied with working on more critical updates such as the new My Forms interface.

    Google Drive is a good alternative for now, at least until our Dropbox integration is switched to the new API.

    Can you provide a button that resynchs all the files to dropbox, so that the missing files are copied over?

    Is there an update on the problem of this thread?   Is Dropbox consistently getting all files that should be uploaded to Dropbox?
