    Is there a way of changing the page background colour when creating a Thank You message?

    Asked by steelneil81 on August 14, 2012 at 12:01 PM

    I would like to replace my form with a thank you message rather than redirect to another page entirely but my website is black and the thank you message is white. I have tried creating a table and changing the background to black but it still leaves a white border around it.

    Hi steelneil8,

    There is a way of editting the "Thank You message".

    I don't know if this will help, but if yuo click on the "Thank You" button while on the "Setup & Embed" tab it will give you the option of editing your thank you msg. On the wizard, you have the option of editting the HTML code of the page (top right corner).

    This is the default code:

    <p>&nbsp;</p>

    <div style="text-align: center;">

    <h1>Thank You!</h1>

    Your submission has been received.</div>

    You can change the background color by changing the coe a little.  Her is an example

    <div style="height: 100%; background: blue;">

    <p>&nbsp;</p>

    <div style="text-align: center;">

    <h1>Thank You!</h1>

    Your submission has been received.</div>

    </div>

    Hope that helps!  Let me know if you come across any other questions.

    Hi, whilst this colours the whole background it still leaves a white border around the edge.

    Any ideas how to get rid of the white border?

    This doesn't work.

    To get the result I had before i had to insert a table to force the height to be right.

    This is what it looks like using your method...

    Sorted. Thank you for your help.

    I had the form embedded via your gadget. I swapped it for iFrame and it now works.
