    Multiple Upload tool does not work with user specific session based link

    Asked by Taylor4484 on August 14, 2012 at 06:10 PM

    I have two forms. Form A and Form B

    A user fills out Form A to get a custom link to Form B, this works great and all allowing the user to fill in the form over multipul sessions, however when the user uploads a file on Form B goes to the next page and then goes back, the file does not upload and instead shows a plain text link (see screenshot)

    I have tried this not going back and just submitting the form, the form submits but the attached file does not upload. I have created a replication of the issue

    Go to this form: FORM A: http://form.jotform.us/form/21795161134148   and complete it, check your email for a custom link and then try to upload a file. Continue to the next page and then go back.

    It seems that when the file is uploaded it is uploaded to the url of the form, which is a custom url generated using ....session={id}

    and thus the file does not get uploaded.

    I need a work around, or some suggestion to fix this. I need users to be able to fill out a form over multipule sessions and upload files.

    Please help. The URL of Form A is above, the main URL of form B is: http://form.jotform.us/form/21225270243138 but again, Form A generates a unique URL for Form B

    I am sorry for the inconveniences caused.

    We have already forwarded a bug report ticket about not working Multiple Upload tool with session parameter. We will let you know once it is fixed.

    In the meantime, you may use Single Upload fields as a workaround.

    Thank you for using our services.
