    Integration with DealerSocket CRM

    Asked by FrankBalistreri on July 26, 2017 at 07:19 PM
    We would also be interested in the Feature Request, we would be willing to pay for this as we do a lot of these and plan to do more. Thanks Frank

    You won't need to pay us for a possible integration 😊 What normally happens is that we just get as many votes as we can for a specific platform, check its viability, then work our way from there.

    I browsed around DealerSocket's website and noticed they offer 2 kinds of CRMs - Franchise CRM and Independent/BHPH CRM. Which one are you using?

    Also, we'd like to gather as much info as possible before we escalate this as a Feature Request.

    Will it just be a straight forward integration with a CRM where the form fields in the submission will be "matched" and pushed to the form fields you have in your CRM? Basically, all we need to know is how you wanted the integration to work and discuss further details that may help our Developers should they decide to implement it.

    We are only involved with franchised dealers, but the file format would be the same for both.

    So they way this works is that the form would need to go very quickly to the CRM in ADF (automated Dealer Format) or XML. Here is a sample of ADF, which I am told is identical to XML.

    The problem with this sample is the software we currently use is just dumping the data in Comments, DS can't parse it from there. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <?ADF VERSION "1.0"?>

    We have forwarded a request to our back-end team. If this integration gets implemented, you will be notified via this thread. Please note that there isn't an estimated time-frame for an implementation.
