Phone numbers Mask

Hello.  We have had several JotForms coming in lately with phone numbers like this:

Phone Number (512555555) 420-2227

Not all are like this, but I felt like we should ask.  Is there a setting or something that we need to change?  Thanks for your help.

As per checking, your Phone Number field input mask is turn off so it is possible for form users to input long value for Area Code. If you want to limit or format the inputted value on your Phone Number field, please enable the Input Mask option of the field. You can find the option at the Phone Properties > Options > Input Mask.

Enabling the Input Mask option of your Phone Number field will force the user to input correct format on the field. Do let us know if you have any other concerns.
