Is there a way to have user be provided with instant answers from their submission?

Asked by Axior on August 16, 2012 at 05:17 AM

What I'm looking for is a form that users can fill out, hit the submit button, and will immediately be able to see their results. For example, a user that wants to join my video game clan wants to know if they have the correct stats to qualify. Let's say "50 attack" is a requirement, so I'd like them to be able to enter their attack level into a text field. So in the "Attack Level" field they enter "45" and then hit submit. I'd like it to automatically say something like "Sorry your attack level does not meet the level requirement."

    Is this at all possible?

Hi Axior and thanks for contacting us.

Sure ! What you're looking for is simply to do :)

You must use our conditionals logic tool.

    Simply create your form first.

When you're done click on "Setup & Embed" tab and choose "Conditions" button.

Now select "Change Thank you message after submission".

    and create your condition criteria.

Ex: if Attack Level field EQUALS to 50 then display this custom message on submit:

    (your text here)

    Now create another conditions:

if attack level field equals to 49 (or what you need) then display this custom message on submit:

    (other text here)

    Hope this helps.

    Alessandro
