How can we change the way signatures are sent?

The client wants the form responses - mainly the signature sections to be displayed in a different manner. He says the way it's displayed won't allow him to use the signature for landlord references. Have you had this issue arise before and been able to help? I know it's a rental application form and the signature is valid but how can he receive it differently? Can the responses be sent in another way??
