How Can I Get The Thank You Page To Show?

Asked by natwhit on August 20, 2012 at 01:16 AM

When I made my form, I tried choosing "Thank You Message" as my option.  I guess that's hosted on jotform.

That didn't work.  I got some message about a certain java code not being accepted or something.

So I changed my selection to "Custom URL".  I made a page on my website with a brief thank you & statement that I would be in touch shortly.  However, when I test the form on my site & click the submit button, the connection times out & I'm told that the server (where my site is hosted) is taking to long to respond.

    Change your redirection URL

    from : http://www.cutmyutilityrates.com/thankyou.html

    to : http://cutmyutilityrates.com/thankyou.html

I cloned your form and changed URL and was able to get the thanks you page with customized message set.

Lets know if this works out

OK, thank you.  It works now. Just one other question.

I changed the URL by going to Jotform & selecting thank you, choosing "custom URL", recopying the embed code, & pasting it in to my site's page.  I did that because I couldn't find the URL insided of the html code on my page.  I did a search with the "find" function, but nothing was found.  Where do I find the URL in the page so that I can just edit it without having to redo the whole page?

I'm sorry but you couldn't find it on the source code. Thank you URL is hardcoded on the every forms submissions php file. You have to change it on the form builder and retake again the form embed code to be able to make it work. (since you are using source code embed option)

Hope this clarifies a bit. Thank you!
