Can I add a value to my drop down form based on a previous submission?

Hi there,

I'd like to have a dynamic drop down list in my form. 

I want to capture a team name when a captain registers their team, so that when subsequent players access the same form, they will be able to see the previously submitted name in the drop down list. 

Eg: 

Drop down values: empty

Team Captain registers team: Bears

New drop down values (for all future users): Bears

Is this possible?

Unfortunately no. It is not possible to dynamically add new options in dynamic dropdown widget. 

I would suggest you to please please take a look at our "User Contributed Dropdown" widget and see if it fits into your requirement. It will allow your users to add values directly in the dropdown field.
