    some fileds not shown correctly

Asked by gboehm on August 21, 2012 at 11:33 AM

    Hi,

I have the problem that various fileds are not displayed correctly.

The arrows from the spinner and the reload button from the captcha filed are missing (see screen shot).

Any idea as to hat the reason may be?

The form is directly embedded, i.e. sorce code is on my web server. it currently is password protected

    uid: jto

    pwd: jto

    Thanks,

    Guido

it seems to be kind of browser related.

With Chrome and IE 8 (Mac and Windows) result is a described above.

Firefox looks slightly different, but still not OK.

At any rate the filed is not prepopulated as it should be.

I see you have embedded the source code of the form, can you please try to embed it using the iFrame method?

    Hi,

I tried the iFrame method and the graphical elements of the spinning and captcha fields are now visible. However the prepopulation of the spinning field is still not working.

Anyhow, iFrame embedding is not the way I want to go for (for various reasons).

    Thanks,

    Guido

    @Guido,

You can actually edit your form source code and point the images to jotform images. You can also download this images and upload it in your site, it should be in this folder path of your site http://www.sannes-stickdesign.de/kontakt_jto/images/. Here are the images you need:

    Hi,

great and speedy support, thank you!

I downloaded the images and the fields are now displayed correctly. One flaw still exists though.

For the spinning field I configured a default value of "1" to be pre-populated. This still is not working.

It is the field {anzahlFarben}, id input_29, which only becomes visible when you select "Anfrage: ich benötige ein Stickprogramm" from the drop-down list labelled "Betreff".

    Thanks,

    Guido,

Glad to hear it works now.

Regarding the default value on your field ID input_29, try appending value="1" after <input of this field codes. See this image:

    Hope this helps. Thank you!
