In order for you to secure a form, please follow these steps
1. Click on "Setup & Embed" tab on the form builder toolbar
2. Click on "Embed Form"
3.Select the "Secure Form" check box. Then you can select any method (embed, iFrame , direct link, etc)

I have a related question- I originally set up my form to be secure; how can I change it back to be unsecure?

Thanks for asking. Just replace the secure URL with the non-secure one.
"And exactly where does one find the non-secure URL of a form?" you may ask. Uncheck the same box shown in the screenshot provided by my colleague to change the URL in the text box back to its non-secure version. This will also change all of the codes provided by the Embed Form Wizard to their non-secure versions.
It should be noted that checking and unchecking that box doesn't actually do anything to the form. It simply provides the different versions of the form's URLs which were in existence all along. In other words, all of your forms have non-secure and secure URLs. Checking and unchecking the box just shows what those URLs are.
Should you need clarification on anything, please let us know.

When I look at that screen for my form, the box is unchecked, yet is sending secure forms. Help.

Checking and unchecking that box will make no difference to the type of submissions you receive. That box is just a convenient way to know the secure and non-secure versions of your form's URL. If the form is embedded in a web page, you will need to change the URL in the form's code there to the non-secure version. Conversely, if the form is used at its own JotForm URL, you would have to first clone it and then disable the original, so that it cannot receive anymore submissions. (Do NOT delete it, unless you first download its submissions to your computer because deleting a form deletes its submissions.)
To disable a form go to your My Forms page and right-click the form (or click the "More" button) and when the menu pops up, click Disable Form. If the form is already loaded in the form builder, it can be disabled from the Setup & Embed tab by going into the Preferences > General Settings > Status > Disabled:
