what's the difference between a submission, a payment submission and an SSL secured submission?

My account shows that I've used 6 of 10 payment submissions (but it looks like 8 were already used).  What happens when I hit 10?  I'm using the free Jot Form service.

SSL Submissions mean that your form will being protected from a ssl certificate and data sent trough this forms will being crypted. (reccomended for payment forms)

Payment submissions mean that you can integrate our payment tools on your forms and you can receive 10 payments per month.
