I hope someone can understand my question.  I have created a form that is supposed to pop up when I click the link on my website.  this works except the link is ugly and doesn't match my site.  it too small, the wrong color and wrong text type.  I tried to change it but there doesn't seem to be a way to do this.

You can change the format of the link using Inject Custom CSS feature of JotForm.

    1. While  on  your form (Edit Mode), click Setup & Embed then  Preferences

    2. On the Preferences window, goto Form Styles tab and then insert your CSS Code under Inject Custom CSS Box.

Clicking on "Close Settings" will then automatically  save the changes.

To get the CSS class or Id of the fields you can download and use Firebug.

You may also find Inject Custom CSS solutions posted on our forum.

If you need further help feel free to contact us.

I tried this but this does not edit the title of the form style.  That just happens to be the link name to the popup form.  it seems to be just a small thing but not so simple.  been working on this for a week.  is there a number to call so I can finally get this done.

What is the code you are using to put the link on your webpage?

Something may be what your are looking for:

    <a style="font-family:font-family: "Times New Roman; font-size:13px; color:red" target="_blank" href="http://where.my.form.is.html" rel="nofollow noopener">Click to open form</a>

It would be much easier for us to understand what you are trying to do and therefore to help you out if you can provide a link to the webpage you are working on.

I would be  more than happy to supply you with the link to the web page but my site is not published yet. it is on my desktop.  I use the insert button to put the link on my webpage but the html code that comes up is listed below.

    <a target="_blank" href="javascript:void( window.open('http://form.jotform.us/form/22315769654158', 'blank','scrollbars=yes,toolbar=no,width=700,height=500'))">Why is it often good to ask questions</a>

    @srbayless

As what my colleague fxr provided, you just need to append style attribute on your pop-up embed code. Example:

    <a style="font-family:Times New Roman; font-size:13px; color:red;text-decoration:none;" target="_blank" href="javascript:void( window.open('http://form.jotform.us/form/22315769654158', 'blank','scrollbars=yes,toolbar=no,width=700,height=500'))">Why is it often good to ask questions</a>

That should show you a link like this:

You can also modify the highlighted styles above. Let me know if you have further questions. Thank you!

I am a dummy when it comes to html. and html language.  what do you mean when you say append it?  it can't be changed.  you can't add anything to it.  it won't let you.  and just where am I supposed to put this in.

    srbayless,

Append means to add something, you have to add the style attribute in your pop-up embed code.

What you mean by it can't be changed? You have to copy the code and paste it in notepad to be able to edit it. By the way, my codes above is based on your request so it's ready to be embedded. Any problem?

    Thanks. :)

Then the problem might be in your page or the software you used. What HTML editor software you are using? You should add that code on the html part not as text. If you can just provide a sample or a page where we can view this codes, perhaps we can help you solve the problem. Thanks.
