    Wishbox parameters and base option

Asked by Steve on August 29, 2012 at 12:21 PM

    Hey JotForm Members and Team,

I'm using the wishbox and have several questions.

    1. How can I add custom parameters that will be submitted with the feedback form?

I've read the following articel http://www.jotform.com/answers/120012-I-would-like-to-know-the-URL-where-the-form-was-used-using-a-Lightbox-form

I've applied the iframeParameters option, but in the email is no custom field/info.

    2. Is there a way to remove, for example, the email field and/or add some other fields in the feedback form?

    3. What is the purpose of the 'base' option?

I guess it is usefull, when I plan to host the javascript file on my server right?

If so, can I simply download the following file, upload it on my server and change the base option?
    http://www.jotform.com/min/?g=feedback2

    Thanks, Steve

    Steve,

    1. How can I add custom parameters that will be submitted with the feedback form?

iframeParameters will not work with the feedback2 script (which is needed to run Wishbox) due to a known bug.

Unfortunately, there is no estimated time as to when the said bug will be fixed.

    2. Is there a way to remove, for example, the email field and/or add some other fields in the feedback form?

Yes, you may rename, add and remove fields while editing the form. I advise you to register a free account though, so you can have access to your form anytime, wherever may be.

The base option tells the script which JotForm domain (we have quite a lot) to use to load the form.

    3. What is the purpose of the 'base' option?

For example, since your form is hosted on jotformeu.com, the base parameter of the embed script should remain as is.

You may download the feedback script and host it on your server, but you should not change the 'base' parameter so that the feedback form will load properly.

    Hope this helps.
