Here is a response from our manager about JotForm's security (https://www.jotform.com/answers/376773-How-secure-is-JotForm)
I assume your bottom line question is: How secure is Jotform?
Let me tell you that, Jotform has a very powerful cloud of servers whose storage is encrypted and provides security protection against malicious attacks like SQL injection and denial of service (DDOS) attacks.
So we provide a high security standard through out our hosting provider's servers for data storage
-All of our SSL certificates support high-grade 256-bit encryption.
- Our forms embed codes are 100% using the HTTPS protocol (SSL) by default. Therefore the data transmission from the person who submits the information to our servers are done in an encrypted manner.
We are also Safe Harbor Certified Announcing-JotForm-s-Safe-Harbor-Certification
Now regarding spam specifically, you can use a captcha to prevent bots from spamming you
However according to our founder (https://www.jotform.com/answers/529322-Spam-prevention-without-using-Captcha)
JotForm already has many similar and other secret techniques to prevent the spam. So, CAPTCHA is not needed in your JotForm forms at all. We have it because many people ask for it.
Does that answer your question? If you require any further help please feel free to ask us.
