Feature: Ability to make the Section Collapse element to automatically add new sets of fields

Jotform must have a native way to repeat collapsible sections.

The options I have explored are:

    a) After finishing the collapsible section with "logical conditions", I wanted to add a button that says "Add another Section" (and "Remove Section"), I tried copy-multiple but It does not copy the conditional attributes... so I would have to go all over again...

    b) in widgets there is nothing I can find (good enough) as of today.

Please provide ideas or elevate this problem as a feature request.

    Thanks

    Hi Axel,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. There's no option to repeat the Collapsible Section element without duplicating the fields and adding conditional logic which you already did as a workaround.

Another option is to use the Configurable List widget. This will allow your users to click on a button to add another set of multiple fields. Here's a demo of the widget:

Let me show you how to add it:

    1. In the Form Elements window, go to Widgets.
    2. Drag and drop the Configurable List widget.
    3. Click the Wand icon next to it to open the settings.
    4. Add your field configurations.

Here's the guide on How to Set Up the Configurable List Widget. You can also change the layout of the widget to vertical. Check our guide on How to Change the Layout of the Configurable List Widget.

Let us know if there's anything else we can help.

    Thanks for your answer Gian,

Please added as a Request Feature, I consider this feature a must.

The configurable list does not provide the same feedback from the user ...

    Best,

    Axel.

    Hi Axel,

Thanks for getting back to us. While the feature you’re looking for isn’t currently available, rest assured we’re always working to add new services and features to Jotform.

I've gone ahead and escalated your request to our Developer Team. When or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

Let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with.
