I have created an employee leave form. When we get approval (code) 1234
the approver has to click into the email address on the form as it wont submit for the second time. Can this be fixed so that the approver signs ticks yes or no and the form will submit?
Also, when the email conditions are met, the form should email the email address entered and another email (payroll). The payroll email is not being received.

i have gotten the payroll notification to work but not the response to the person submitting the form is not working

I test submitted your form and it appears to be working fine as of this checking.
Here is the video of my test.
I also was able to receive the auto email to my email address.
Can you please describe more what email error you got?
We will look into this further once we know more details.

So in the video you submitted the form at the same time as submitting the leave details. We have a manager that will edit the submission and when this happens the email address field shows an error. If you click on the field it then accepts it so the manager can submit the approval. Essentially this form has a two stage process.
I will test out the autoresponder again and let you know.

If I understand correctly, you are saying that the problem occurs only when in the form submission Edit mode.
Can you please confirm if that is the case.
So far, as I have shown on the video, I test the form as is but I never encountered any error within the form. The conditions you have setup on the form maybe flawed, but it does not mean it was causing error on the form.
You most certainly need to revise the conditions on the forms as your intended users will also will be possible to commit mistake using the form similar to how I did.

Yes that is correct error only occurs when form is in submission edit mode.
I have followed the guide provided to set up the workflow.
I am still not receiving autoresponder email.
The users cant enter the code, as they are not approvers (they dont have the code). My conditions are almost identical to the guide.

I was able to reproduced the issue of the validation error for the Email field when in Edit mode.
I found that it was caused by the Email Correctness Check widget on the form.
It seems the widget doesn't work correctly when in Edit mode.
It will only submit in edit mode after selecting again unnecessarily the Email field and then click on Submit button again. I did this steps, and I was able to get the auto email again with the edited data.
I will submit a bug ticket report to the higher team support base on this thread. We will notify you here once the widget is fixed.
For the meantime, the only quick workaround I found that will work is to replace the Email Correctness Check with the regular Email field. You may want to try this option as well.
