Need help with Dropbox integration

    Hi,

     

    Firstly, where has your online help gone? Ive used it before but can not see it anywhere.

     

    Also, i have intergrated dropbox but when i get a new upload it doesnt come through on to the drop box app that i have installed?

     

    I get up to 54 images uploaded each time and indvidually downloading or dragging them out is a nightmare.  I need an alternative.


    Please help.

    When you say "online help", are you referring to our user guide section?

    As for your Dropbox issue, have you thoroughly looked at your JotForm folder?

    The file should be located at:  JotForm\How to Order - Step 1\212590784732808500\

    Can you please log in to your Dropbox account via the Dropbox website and see if the file is there or not?

    No i can not see it in my drop box.  I have turned on drop box on jotform and have the drop box app installed.  But it isnt crossing over.

    Online chat is only available if we have enough support staff available.

    If you have the Dropbox app installed in your computer, the file should be located on the folder

    Upon checking though, it looks like your form isn't properly integrated to Dropbox.

    Kindly re-do the integration, make a mock submission on your live form, then let us know if the files arrive or not.

    Sorry just one more question.  When a customer uploads and they get an email

    that says...

    Just a quick email to say many thanks for submitting your order. Your order ID number is 212597365732817107

    Can i change the order numer to something smaller??

    Sure! Insert a Unique ID in your form, name it to something like "Order ID" then use its tag in the email autoresponder instead of the default Unique ID (it actually should be named submission ID, not Unique ID) to generate the customized number.

    ok ive just gone in to power tools but could only see unique id not order id.  whre is the "email autoresopnder" field for me to change??

    Sorry for not being clear.

    Follow these steps:

    1.  Insert a Unique ID tool in your form (under Power Tools)

    2.  Change its label to "Order ID"

    3.  In your "Order Confirmation" autoresponder (Setup & Embed > Email Alert > Order Confirmation), click Order ID to generate the tag for the said value

     

    4.  Click finish to save the changes to your autoresponder

    5.  Save your form

    ok so ive now changed the id within the email to be as i want it.  But the really long original id that i dont want is still showing up in the subject field of the email.  How do i get rid of that as well??

    In your 'Order Confirmation' mail's subject line, replace {id} with the generated tag for "Order ID".

    great thanks, ive now changed both my email confirmation and the customers.  

     

    Just one more thing.  When the upload pops up in my drop box, the pdf is still tagged with the long original id.

     

    How do i change that as well please??
