We are starting to accept submissions for music competitions with mp3 uploads. There is a student who's parent has tried to submit her audition and form 3 times on 3 different computers and from 3 different email addresses. They keep getting the error that I've attached. Do you know if this is a problem on our end or on their end? Deadline for them to submit is October 8th so we are in a time crunch especially if it is a problem with their mp3 and she has to record it again.

So far, no one else has had this error.

I just noticed that you have a list of forms, can you tell us which form it is that is having this issue? At the moment, we have no idea if this is caused by the form or if it's because it's caused by the person trying to submit the form. It would be great if you can provide us more details about the form so we can make tests.

    Thanks.

Yes, it's on the Senior Honors Choir form.

We would like to apologize for any inconvenience this is causing you. I was able to reproduce the issue on my end and it seems that the error is showing when a form has a PayPal payment field, a File Upload field, and it is integrated with Dropbox. The issue happens when the File Upload field and PayPal payment field are filled and then the form submitted.

I will be forwarding this to our developers so they can take a closer look at the issue and provide the necessary fix to it. Although I cannot provide any ETA to when this will be fixed, please be assured that once there is an update we will notify you in this thread as soon as possible.

In the meantime, may I suggest you try to use any of our Upload widgets that are found in this guide — How-to-Create-File-Upload-Forms and see if it helps and meet your requirements?

I have already tried the Drag & Drop Upload widget. But I found out that there will be no separate mp3 file that will be included in your Dropbox folder. However, similar to the submission page of your form, the link to the file that you can use to download it is included in the content of the PDF copy of submission that is saved to Dropbox.

The issue was caused because of the Dropbox API updates. This issue is already reported to our backend team and they have fixed this issue.

I would suggest you to please test your form again and get back to us if the issue persists.

We will wait for your response.
