How to display sub-dropdown when user select option of primary dropdown?

I would like to have a primary drop-down with 3 options and have a secondary drop-down populate for the user to fill out that's content depends on their answers from the primary drop-down 

Do you mean to say that when user select the first dropdown, you want to automatically display a second dropdown field based on the selection of first dropdown?

I would suggest you to please take a look at our "Dynamic Dropdowns" and see if that fits into your requirement. This widget will allow you to create nested dropdown fields.
