Image Field: image won't appear when uploading using version 4 builder

    Before, Please, you have to understand that I don’t know about this matter, internet and your plataforms, etc., I am only an user.
    But I will try to explain what is The problem:
    When I want to upload an image in to a form in version 4, it is not possible.
    Please see the picture attached: the name of the file of the image, appears, “111.624.jpg”, but the image doesn’t appear in to the form. 
    I COUDN'T UPLOAD THE IMAGE HERE BUT IN THE MAIL IS ATTACHED
    This problem exists many time ago, and I have sent your messages to your fórum, and your partners ONLY tell me how to upload an image, and attached a gif … but they are in other country where your plataform works with this task.
    I am in Colombia and upload an image using Jotform DOESN’T WORK.
    I am in Colombia, and I am a user in Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, and I can upload images without problem.
    I don’t know why it is not posible with Jotform
    But when I use versión 3, I can upload an image … after I upload it, the image doesn’t appear, but I change the size and it appears.
    Finally that is the reason to use versión 3.
    In this moment, today, your Company Jotform erased the versión 3 in my account and I can’t work in my office because I can’t upload an image in versión 4
    PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, return the versión 3.

    I am reaching out to you because you recently switched from "Form Builder - v4" back to "Form Builder - v3", and I'm worried it did not meet your expectations.
    Do you mind telling me what made you choose the older version of the form builder instead of the new one? Is there anything we could have done differently in our new version?

    Apologies for the inconvenience this has caused you.

    I understand that you aren't able to upload images using the Version 4 that's why you would like to return to version 3. I have read your previous issue in this thread: https://www.jotform.com/answers/1267363

    We will escalate this issue to our backend team. But I would like to ask if you could please provide us a screenshot image of your chrome's console for errors when uploading the image in the version 4. Please follow this guide: How to Post Screenshots to Our Support Forum.

    I checked the screenshot you provided and I noticed that the URL on your screenshot is from V3. The URL for V4 builder is like this: https://www.jotform.com/build/72814794070965.

    As I check the screenshot of V4, it seems that there are no errors reported. Please try uploading the image while the console is open so that we can see the error message.

    I have not could take a sreenshot that has an error reported on console

    Simply the problem continue: I drag and drop the file, appears the name of the file, BUE IT DOESN'T APPEAR THE IMAGE ... SEE THE ATTACHED IMAGE

    PLEASE HELP ME WITH THE VERSION 3 ... IT IS THE SOLUTION

    It may take a few seconds before you can see it. I have tested it here, the upload is working properly. Here's a quick video about it:

    Please let us know if the file upload is not doing the same to your end. Also, check for another error after you upload the image. 

    We also recommend using the version 4 builder. We have discontinued the support for version 3 and we've already removed the option to switch to it.

    The steps are very similars, please see the attached image that show 6 steps.

    The problem is when the name of the file appears in black box, later I wait a long time, 10 minutes for example, and the image doesn't appear in the form ...... ¡the image never appears in the form! ...

    On your 6th screenshot, would you mind opening the browser console again? Send us a screenshot of the console.

    Thank you for provided screenshots.

    The image is displaying fine when I open your form in the editor and by direct link too.

    Are you able to view the image at the moment?

    If the issue still persists, please open the form by direct link:

    https://form.jotform.com/72848609570972

    Then open the console and reload the page (while the console is open), provide us with the screenshot if there are any errors.

    I proved upload an image again and didn´t work ... I was waiting a long time and the image didn't appear.

    I send you attached image with the editor, it didn't work, the form with direct link, it didn't work, and the screenshot of the console with the error message.

    Often, this may happen due to a slow internet connection. Have you tried after uploading, just immediately refreshing the page?

    I tried after upload the image, just immediately, refreshing the page, and it didn't work: the image didn´t appear.

    Definitely to upload an image in a form, in Jotform, doesn't work adequately here in Colombia.

    I said your partners, before, that I have uploaded images, here in Colombia, using services in Google, Microsoft and Yahoo, without problem, with my actual internet connection.

    I will looking for another resource to work.

    I have now submitted a ticket about this matter to our backend team. If we have an update, we'll let you know here. Please provide us the following additional information:

    1. Your ISP.

    2. Your current speed (use speedtest.net).

    3. Are you Wired/DSL or Metered Network.


    4. Your PC/Laptop Spec.


    And for the meantime, try using this URL: https://shots.jotform.com/welvin/shots/mguzmandofic.jpg in the Image field. Use Enter URL method. 


    I hope this works. If not, please provide us another screenshot of the console.
