What form is it?
Its most likely because it has had a lot of submissions that you are trying to download.
Have you tried filtering the submissions between certain timeframes, then trying to download submissions ?

one of the forms only has 12 submissions. all submitted yesterday or today. that doesn't seem like too many to download at one time and i've not ever had a problem in the past.

I apologize for this inconvenience. Occasionally our server may lag slightly during peaktimes when our website is full of customers on our servers.
On the otherhand though, I test-downloaded a few of the results of your forms and they are working fine although as my colleague has stated, the download time depends on how many forms you have in your submissions listing. I have noticed that the form download generating tag usually gets stuck during and even after download but it usually works even though occasionally it may timeout but a quick refresh of your browser usually fixes the problem. Along with that you may even need to log out, Clear your Browser Cache, and log back in to try it again to get it to work properly.
If all else fails, then most likely it is the result of your modem and isp data bottlenecking which can slow things down to a crawl and even time out or lose connection. That is something that you may end up having to Reset your Modem or contact your isp to get that problem resolved.
