    Edits not showing in list

Asked by ktauschek on September 13, 2012 at 11:20 AM

I have set my form up for multiple entry without having to enter information twice by using the edit feature in the confirmation email.

The problem I have found is that when people have used this feature it does not show up in the submission list - therefore, I am not able to create a report with accurate information.

    Any fixes or suggestions.

There seems to be a problem with the generated link using {edit_link} variable. Instead of using this variable, can you please try to replace it with this?

    This should work fine.

Feel free to update us if you've found any issues regarding this. Thanks!

Ops, I think I missed your point.

Anyway, I made a test regarding this and I can't seem to reproduce the problem. All submissions, (edited or new submissions) appears on my submissions list fine. I was also able to received notifications about the edited submissions.

Also made a test with your form and it seems to be OK. Can you check if the issue is still occuring?

When someone uses the "edit" feature to submit some of the same information and new info it is not added as a submission.

For example - submitting the same form but editing the form to add different information and show as a new submission

I'm sorry but this is how it works currently. Hopefully this will be improved in the future.

Edited submissions will be counted as "new submissions", it will not update existing data. However, you can identify edited submissions on the notification message that will be sent to you via email with a subject prefix "EDIT" when someone submitted an edited form.

I hope I was able to informed you well. Thank you for your understanding.
