Screen snapping to text boxes when I click on them on Huawei P30

    Hi,

I've noticed that when using a Jotform form on my mobile device with the card layout, every time I click on a text box the webpage snaps down to that text box, it's a quite disruptive experience. Is there a way to not have the screen snap to a text box when I click on it?

I've attached a link to the form I'm using, in case that helps.

    Hi Ismael,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I am sorry you are having an issue with this. I've checked your form in my mobile browser, but it seems to be working as expected. Check out the screencast of my results:

Can you create a screen recording of the issue and then upload it to Google Drive or Loom and share the public link with us so we can check what's going on? Meanwhile, I've gone ahead and cleared your form cache to refresh the form. Can you try it again to see if the issue persists?

Once we hear back from you we can move forward with a solution.

    Hi Harshad,

I've attached my screen cast below, as you can see in the video it snaps to the textbox that I click on. I've also tried using the form again, since you cleared the cache but the issue is still there.

    Hi Ismael,

Thanks for getting back to us. I have tested your form on my mobile device, but I was unable to replicate it on my end. Could you share with us the mobile device model and browser used when you encountered the issue so that we can also test it out on our end?

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

    Hi Christopher,

    Apologies for the delayed response.

The mobile device I used in the video was a Huawei P30 (version ele-l29) and the browser was google chrome. After reading your message, I tried the form on an Iphone 13 and the issue was resolved. So it seems that the issue was caused by the phone. Furthermore I also tested this on a Samsung Galaxy s20 and the issue was also not there.

Since the Huawei P30 is somewhat outdated, I understand why this bug exists. If you guys aren't able to fix it, it's not a problem.

    Hi Ismael,

Sorry for the inconvenience experience you had. This issue is occurring due to the older Android version and Chrome version on the Huawei P30, as you've experienced. As you've noticed, it doesn't occur on newer devices like the Galaxy S20 or iPhone 13. Since the problem stems from outdated versions, there isn't much we can do about it.

Thanks for your patience and understanding.

    Best,
