Too many conditions or too complicated nomination form?

Asked by audabee on September 23, 2012 at 02:07 AM

    Hi!

I am trying to create a form for members to nominate for a children's Christmas party.

Members children are free, however, they may bring extra children (or even adults) if they pay a fee.

The complicated bit comes in where I need to record the name, age and sex of all the children.

I've done a first draft form for the "Free" kids, but wondered if I could use the payment tools somehow for the "extras"? The really complicated bit is that different age groups cost different amounts.

Ideally, the result would email them a total amount due (in addition to the details they record).

Is this do-able in some way?

    Thanks!

    Sue

Hello Sue.  What you're looking for indeed may somehow look like complicated but yes, this can be do-able.  We can probably come up with a good solution for this.  Can you tell us how many extras should be in your form?

    Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. It turns out that the club has decided to use a commercial event organisational tool, so I don't need the form. (Phew).

    cheers and thanks again!
