Fill out prefilled forms in the mobile app

    Hi team,

This is a critical function for our Jotform use.

We have a quick form that we get users to fill out on their mobile, than then fetches data from our database, and creates a pre-filled form URL.

This URL is however taking users to a browser version of Jotform (hence asking them to login again). If their phone rings, the screen closes and they are unable to resume it. If they open the mobile app, it shows the initial form they filled out rather than the pre-filled form.

I see a few topics that have talked about deep linking a URL to the app, since 2019 but I can't see any updates on this. Are you able to clarify if this is now possible please?

TL:DR, we want users to go from the first form they fill out (via the mobile app) to a pre-filled form (via the mobile app, and not the browser)

    Hi SWIA,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, the feature you're looking for isn't available at Jotform right now. We've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers, but when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.

This is extremely disappointing news. We are using the forms with our technicians who are always on the road, and sometimes they have to flick screens and doing so results in them losing access to the pre-filled form cause it's opening in the browser rather than in the app. We are close to ditching Jotform because of this issue.

I've looked up app intents, which seems fairly straighforward on both Android and iOs devices. This shouldn't be considered a new feature, given how pre-dominant mobile use is nowadays, this should have been working from the get-go. Please re-consider your stance on this and implement this fix as soon as possible.
