Cannot get value to copy into multi check field

    Hi Jotform support,

I am working on the form linked below. On the last page there is a field called "All Recommendations" that should populate according to how the questions earlier in the form are answered. Each checkbox has a corresponding Form Calculation widget and accompanying condition(s) to populate the value to the calculation field when the criteria are met.

There is a final condition that copies ALL of these similar calculation widget outputs to the "All Recommendations" field if Get Page URL is filled (which should always be true).

All of the checkboxes are populating as desired EXCEPT one - "Cost Segregation Study Review".

The condition is set to when "Is combined value of your real estate properties within a single city (including secondary, commercial and rental real estate but NOT including your primary residence) over $1M?" = "Yes" it populates a calculation widget with "<ul><li> Cost Segregation Study Review</li></ul>,".

The calculation widget shows the right content, however the box will not check off no matter what I try. Please help!!

    Hi Beth,

Thanks for your patience. I've cloned your form and I was able to replicate the issue. I've tried multiple troubleshooting steps and tried a different method to pass the value but the issue persists, so I created a ticket and escalated this to our Developer team.

Although we don't know exactly when the issue will be fixed, we’ll circle back to this thread when we have an update.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.

    Hi Beth,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I have checked your form and see that Form Calculation is working correctly. I added a new Form Calculation to see the value of the Cost Segregation Review field and value was displayed.

I assume you want to check the option based on the value of Form Calculation. Please renew the value as it seems they don't match. After this, you will be able to check the option in the Multiple Choice.

After you add the condition to copy from Form Calculation to Multiple Choice, your form will work as in the screencast below:

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi Erwin,

We confirmed that this was not the issue a few times before sending our initial request, and did so again after your response. The values match exactly, as shown in the screenshots below:

    Hi Beth,

We appreciate your patience while we worked on a solution.

I cloned your form and tested it to see if I could replicate the issue, and I ran into the same issue as follows:

Cannot get value to copy into multi check field Image 1 Screenshot 50

When I looked at your form, I saw that the Cost Segregation Study Review* wasn't added to the Recommendations Output. Therefore, I’ve added it to the corresponding condition and configured the type. Check out the steps and screencast below:

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Settings and open the Conditions,
    2. Search for Recommendation Output and open the condition that updates the Recommendation Output value,
    3. Add Cost Segregation Study Review* to the selected fields: Cannot get value to copy into multi check field Image 2 Screenshot 61
    4. Select Calculate Field Value from DO actions, and update the type of the Cost Segregation Study Review* field: Cannot get value to copy into multi check field Image 3 Screenshot 72

The issue should be resolved as the following screencast:

Cannot get value to copy into multi check field Image 4 Screenshot 83

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi Orçun,

Given that it appears to be working on your side, are you able to share the link to your cloned copy of the form so I can import it to our account?

    Thanks!

Thank you, I was able to clone the form. However, any newly-added items since that one were still not working. After all of the headache, I finally figured out what the root of the problem was - I had to flip from "Copy Multiple Field Values" to "Calculate Field Value" and change the default numerical values to text.

Just wanted to post this for future reference in case it's helpful for someone else struggling with the same problem.
