Form field with a button to add elements dynamically

Also is it possible to have a button which people press and fields appear e.g. adding an amount of cases, could be 5 could be 8 etc could be 0

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform support. If you want to add a field where the users can click a button and add new rows to fill, you can use our widget Configurable List. Let me show you how:

1. In Form Builder, click on Add Form Element.
2. In the Widget tab, search and select Configurable List.
3. In the right pane, set the widget options as you prefer.

That's the result:
