Splitting name form element

Name form element. How do I use the first and last name separately to auto fill another first and last name fields.

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. A workaround would be to use two short text fields for your name field instead:

Then shrink both fields:

You can now use them to prefill form fields separately.
