I noticed when we have sub headers on the Jotform, the sub headers do not show up on the submitted forms via email. We are wanting the sub headers on the submitted forms. Can you help with that?
See the attached screenshot.

Hi Clean23inc,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. If so, unfortunately, the headers and subheaders below the main header and within the contents of the form no longer form part of the email alert.
But you can manually add a text in the body by modifying the HTML code in the email body template. However, the downside of this is that changing the body content of the email alert will cause the body content to become static in relation to the hiding of empty fields when the form is submitted and an email alert is received.
In any case, if you would like to try this, here are the steps how:
- Edit your form and go to Settings
- On the left panel select Emails
- Next, open your Email Notification or Autoresponder settings as the case may be
- Then click the Source Code button in the email alert body settings
- Modify the HTML of your email content's source code where you would like to manually put the headers and subheaders.
- Once done, click the OK button
- Finally, save your settings by clicking the Save button at the bottom-right of the page.
But let me also escalate a feature request for this. Unfortunately, I cannot give you a time frame as to when this feature will be added. But as soon as it is available, we'll let you know.
Meanwhile, let us know if you have other questions.
