Is there an option to update the uploaded file in Sign Documents?

    Hi,

Our team has been using the signed forms to send contracts using a word document template that we upload. However most of our clients need to make updates to the contract as time goes on. Is there a way to upload the new document to the same "sign inbox" as the original or do I need to delete the document each time and create a new one as I've been doing?

    Thank you,

    Lydia

    Hi Lydia,

Thanks for reaching out to us for help. If you are referring to the Sign Document, then there's no option to change the document that is uploaded once the Sign Document is created. The Sign Document creates a legally binding signature flows. Updating the uploaded file counts as a revision and is not allowed.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hi Mary,

Not necessarily make changes to the document, but send additional/new contracts to someone in an already existing sign inbox.

    Thank you,

    Lydia

    Hi Lydia,

Thanks for getting back to us. Unfortunately, what you are referring to is not possible. You need to create a new signed document for the changes that you want.

Reach out again if you have any other questions.
