    Asked by Beecomm on February 07, 2011 at 09:45 AM

    I changed the submit and print button to a button of my choice, but print button still shows the icon above my button. Can i disable/hide the icon somehow? Thanks....

    Copy the full form source code to your web site and remove the image from there.

    Here is how you can get full form source code. Open your form on the Form Builder:

    1. Open "Setup & Share" tab on toolbar,

    2. Click on "Embed Code"

    3. Click on "Source" button and copy it to your web site.

    Thanks for the fast reply. Maybe i was too less specific with my question. Actually i know i can do it inside the source code. But i would prefer to do it with inject css feature, so i can only add the script to my joomla page. Any way i can disable/hide the icon with css feature?

    Yep, just type the following into the Inject Custom CSS field #input_print_2 {display:none;} or #input_print_2 {visibility:hidden;} (according to your requirements).

    The ID of that input may be appended with a different number in your form. For instance it might be input_print_3 or input_print_4. It varies according to the order in which the submit button field was placed into the form but it's usually "2" because of the way JotForm automatically inserts the submit field after the first field is added. Search the source code of your form for the correct number to append.

    Thanks again, but you misunderstood me. I just want to hide or delete the icon of the print button and not the entire button.

    Aye! Now I see what you mean. A screenshot is worth a thousand words. Unfortunately, I doubt what you want to do is possible but I could be wrong.

    Hang on... Let me try adding more specificity to the CSS above and see if it works.

    UPDATE: Okay, change the code I provided above to #input_print_2 img { visibility:hidden; }. "#input_print_2 img { display:none; }" would not have worked in this case because I think you still want the space where the image was. Correct? Either way, the image is now gone. Gotta love that specificity!

    { display:none }

    { visibility:hidden }

    Hi Pat,

    The Print button is a property of the Submit button which you can set On(show) / Off(hide)

    Kindly inform us if this is not what you were looking for.
