How to Change PDF Filenames when downloading submissions

    Hello,

How can I change the default name of the PDF when I download a submission?

I have another Jotform account that will name the PDF download the name of the person and the date it was submitted. This account names the PDF downloads a long number.

I download about 100 submissions per month and I need to easily tell what the downloads are.

    Thank you!

    Hi Holly,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You can change the name of the PDF files in the PDF Settings. Let me show you how to do it:

    1. In PDF Editor, click on the gear icon on the right side of the page.

    2. Click on the pencil icon next under PDF File Name.

    3. Click on Form Fields to use the input data as part of the filename. In the example below, I selected Name and Date.

    4. When that's done, click on the Download button at the top-right, then Download All.
