How to retrieve submissions from year 2017?

How can I go back to the end of calendar year 2017 and retrieve submissions?

Are you referring to all submissions in the year 2017?

The only possible way to archive your submissions is to download them, as an Excel file or CSV.  You can use this app https://apps.jotform.com/app/file_downloader

or if you are referring to your single form submissions.

Just select your form,go to your submissions and sort your submission date to Descending to check the lowest years first.
