Is there a way to make a Facebook Page like or a event attendance a required field?

Unfortunately, it's not possible to set up such element as required since it does not return a value, the widget's will actually display the Facebook page only so your users can like it.

I think none of the Facebook/Social widgets will do that, as explained above, the widgets will only display the content from the social network inside an iFrame so basically it's not possible to set it as required since the "like" function will not trigger the required property, now if you set the widget as required it will not recognize that the user has liked the page.
