How to pass custom data to the Square transaction?

Square has "items" filed into "categories". I have successfully set up several items in Jotform to integrate with Square and make sales. However, they go into Square as "uncategorized". Is there a way to add the Square category to the Jotform submission? Alternatively, is there a way to get Square to take the transaction from Jotform and recognize it as having a category?

As far as I know the Square integration does not allow custom data, you will be able to pass over the the amount and credit card details in order to process the data, but so far the API does not support any other data; however, rest assured that this will be implemented as soon as it's possible.

I need this feature as well. Without the individual items displayed on the receipt and Square dashboard, this is making reconciling transactions a nightmare.
