    Hi there,

I was wondering if there is a setting where you can add partial payment as an option for one of the products/services? I looked at a few videos, but the steps were more for taking multiple types of payment.

A client wants to pay half now and be be billed the remaining balance upon deliverable.

Thanks in advance for your help,

    Hi Danielle Gines,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I’m really sorry that this is happening. I'll do my best to help you. There is no direct option to use partial payment option while using any payment integration on Jotform. You will have to use the recurring/subscription payment feature, which is available only on PayPal Standard and Personal Pro payment fields on Jotform.

    1. Open your form in Form Builder and click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.
    2. Under the Payments tab, select PayPal Personal.
    3. In the menu on the right side of the screen, click on Connect. That will redirect you to the PayPal page to connect your account.
    4. Enter the necessary information and connect your account with your form, Click on Continue. Under the payment type, choose Sell Subscription. How can I create a partial payment for one of my products? Image 1 Screenshot 50
    5. Select the create subscription option in the payment settings option. Enter all the required information about the subscription. How can I create a partial payment for one of my products? Image 2 Screenshot 61
    6. Under the Payment Settings, choose the number of payments to be two if you wish to divide the amount into two parts with the period. How can I create a partial payment for one of my products? Image 3 Screenshot 72
