Hey guys, I'm trying to put together a little website that will allow users to the site to uplode photos using JotForm's File Upload. Each person uplodes to a seperate page and then other viewers can make comments on the photos that have been uploded. I was wondering if anyone has anything like that already going and if so could you post me a link to your website so that I can take a look at how it is working for you or if this can even be done with the JotForm File Upload.

    Hi,

We are sorry but this is not possible in Jotform. You can use Jotform file upload field to recieve images but there is no possible way to make them live directly into your website where users or visitors can also comment. The only possible way I could suggest is to manually upload the file into your website page where comment is ready.

    Thanks

Hey Rodjit, thanks for responding to my question. I don't quite understand what you mean when you say that there is no possible way to make them "live" directly into my website. What exacly do you mean by "live"? As far as the comments go, I'm planning to also add comment boxes to each page along with JotForm's file upload. If that is possible, then I was more wondering how to go about using JotForm's file upload on multiple pages.

    Hi,

I am referring to this line on your first post "and then other viewers can make comments on the photos that have been uploded" because other users cant do any comment without you manually publishing the photos into your website.

Is this what you are trying to achived: http://form.jotform.me/form/22747745816464?

    Thanks

Yes, I think your example is what I'm trying to achieve. I do want to point out that the comments are not going to be posted by the person who has posted the photos. The comment box will be on the page where the already posted photos are. What I'm trying to find out is if JotForm's file upload can be used on multiple pages. Because each person who uploads photos to my site will be uploading to their own designated page. The next person who uploads photos will have their photos posted on yet another designated page, and so on. I would like to know if JotForm's file upload knows to switch to a diffrent page each time a new person goes to upload photos.

    Hello there,

Just to understand what you are looking to acomplish,

1- You would like users to upload images using a form (upload form)

2- Display the images and also have a space to receive comments from users (display/comment form)

If so, you can have a form that easily accomplishes step 1.

Now, once the images are uploaded, they are submitted to your jotform account.

You can also have those images go to a dropbox account or google drive if you would like.

Somehow, those images need to be uploaded to a page (there are some limitations with the way images can be displayed if not manually added to a page/form)

Take a look at this example as a good place to start.
In the example above, I added an HTML field where the form report will be embeded.

Save your form and create a new report. The example uses an HTML report.

Copy the embed code for the report.  Open the form to edit.  Paste the saved embed code inside the HTML field. This will automatically feed the new submissions to your page.

This example is only to give you a starting place.  Please let us know if you need further assistance and we'll be glad to help!
