Why has my form stop saving autoresponders?

    I have a complex form that I am developing for my travel site for my group clients and I need certain emails to go to certain people; per conditions. But it just stop saving my forms and the first one I did just disappeared. When I came to update it. Can you tell me why I can't save anymore. This is going to be a great client and I need 7 more emails. With this business I will be able to upgrade my account. Thanks for any help.     When you are adding conditions our recommendation is to add a single condition at a time and test everything after adding that condition. If you add many conditions and try everything after you will not know what is causing the conflict.

    You will need to delete all conditions, and add conditions one at a time. If you see things get broken on a conditon. Remove that one.

    Thank you for that information and I understand that; but my situation happens when I write the autoresponder and click finish and then go to save it. The save just spins and the working tab at the bottom right does not come up telling me my work was saved. All my conditions work as they should. I will be adding more once I get the responders complete and saved. that is were the problem is on my side spinning save button and not saving to the creation form. Not the end user.

    It must be caused by some kind of infinite loop. It is very easy to create such loops with conditions. If the auto-responder has a condition that might cause it.

    If you are sure this is only and only happening when you add a new auto-responder, something in the auto-responder you just added must be causing the problem. Do you have any special characters on the email body?

    No but thank you. I have fixed it and made my form shorter and it works just the way it should. You guys are the best.

    I have been with you for a couple of years now. But I am just see the real power of JotForm. I will definitely be up grading once my client base gets a little bigger. Thanks for all you do!!!!!

    I am having the same issue. I have several "hide field" conditions enabled, but when I go to add an autoresponder condition, my form refuses to save - it just spins and spins. Please help?

    Hey Tristar, I see you are having the same problem. Just to let you know what I did to fix it (if I did at all or things just started to work). I made a clone of the form and deleted some of the form fields I just had to many and I knew there was a way to use less and when I did that and fixed the condition related. Then the form started to save again and I was able to add more autoresponders.

     

    I don't know if that would help you but it solved my know saving problem.

    Conditions can cause problems like this. Usually what happens is that the condition creates an infinite loop so it keeps going and going. If the problem still continues, please post the URL of the form.

    Thanks for your feedback. I think I got it working now. I had to clone the form, remove all the conditions, add the auto responder back first, saved. Added the hide field conditions back one-by-one, saving after each one and it appears to be working now. I think I gave it more that it could "chew". :)
