OCR-Optical character recognition

    In Dec 2016 there was an inquiry regarding OCR (Optical character recognition).  Has there been any progress or is there anything in the future where OCR can be used to capture text/numbers from a picture? 

    We are taking pictures of a paperform and typing the 10 digit number in.  OCR would help speed up and eliminate errors in the field

    Unfortunately, no progress has been made regarding that issue.

    It is not something that is required by a significant number of users.
