Date Conditional Logic set up option

From what I understand, in order to set up a criteria for :

• do <something> if current date is on or after a date,
• e.g. deadline 4/15/2024
• do <something> if current date is on or after 4/25/2024.

I will have to create another date - 4/26/2024 but have it hidden. Then, at the criteria, I'll have to use this hidden field as the criteria .

This is cumblesome. Could the development consider to add the criteria like:

• by <a date>
• meaning before or on that date. (inclusive)

Please review my first posting again, my question is not about how to set criteria. It is missing a proper condition ...

This is regarding date.. Your current set of selectable expression only have after or before a date. This will exclude the actual date... e.g. 

before   4/15/2024

after  4/15/2024

but this excludes on  4/15/2024???

It will be helpful to have something like "by   <date>" . This will include the date itself.

e.g. discount applies if you register by 4/15/2024. i.e. 4/15 is inclusive... i.e. on and before 4/15/2024.
